WHOIS lookup

WHOIS is the public record of a domain registration: who the registrar is, when the domain was registered, when it expires, and which nameservers it uses. This tool reads the modern registry feed (RDAP), so the data comes straight from the source.

Most registrars apply WHOIS privacy (we enable it by default on domains bought here), so the registrant's personal details are redacted in the public record. The registrar, dates and nameservers are still public.
